The Subclass 457 – Business (Long Stay) visa programme
This visa allows employers to sponsor approved skilled workers to work in Australia on a temporary basis. Employers can nominate a number of positions for different occupations under the same sponsorship application.
With this visa you can live and work in Australia for a period of between one day and four years. Applicants may be able to use this opportunity as a pathway to permanent residency.
Requirements include the following:
• Applicants must be sponsored by an employer to fill a nominated position
• Applicants must have skills, qualifications, experience and an employment background which match those required for the position
• Applicants must be eligible for any relevant licences or registration required for the nominated position
• Applicants must demonstrate that they are to be paid at least the minimum salary level that applies at the time a decision is made on their visa.

Australian Working Holiday Programme
This visa programme allows eligible applicants aged between 18 and 30 to travel to and work in Australia for up to 12 months. In order to be eligible, applicants must be of good health and character, must not have held an Australian Working Holiday Visa previously and must not take any dependants with them.
The visa will allow the applicant to enter Australia within 12 months of visa grant and to stay in Australia for up to 12 months, working for up to six months with each employer during this period.
Previous visa holders can apply for a second Working Holiday Visa providing they are aged between 18 and 30 and they meet minimum requirements.
