There are a number of migration options for children of Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens, where the child is outside Australia.

Child (Permanent)
This visa is for children who are a natural, adopted or step child of an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen..

Orphan Relative (Permanent)
This is a sponsored visa for children under 18 years old whose parents are deceased, permanently incapacitated, or whose whereabouts are unknown.

Adoption (Permanent)
For children under 18 years of age who have been or about to be adopted by an Australian citizen or the holder of an Australian permanent visa or an eligible New Zealand citizen.

Dependent Child Visa
This visa is a temporary visa for a natural, adopted or step child whose parent currently holds a temporary visa and is in the process of obtaining a permanent visa.
