You will need to be able to show you can pay for:

• your travel to Australia (including any accompanying family members)
• your course costs
• your first year's living expenses (calculated as follows):
  • A$12,000 for yourself
  • A$4,200 for your spouse (if applicable)
  • A$2,400 for the first child (if applicable)
  • A$1,800 for each extra child (if applicable)
  • A$8,000 for each child aged between 5 and 18 (for school costs)

You will also need to sign a declaration that you have access to sufficient funds to cover the costs (including living costs and school costs for the remainder of the course).
