Your credit rating is not checked for your migration application so it will not affect you getting your visa. However it may affect your credit rating in Australia as some banks carry this over and may affect getting a mortgage. Your credit rating is not checked if you wish to migrate. Funding a £ debt with a $AUD income may be very hard. Would suggest trying to clear the debt before you go, or visit a debt consultant to help you organize it to become more manageable.
