Immigration to New Zealand is set to become easier and safer when The Immigration Advisors Licensing Act goes live on 4 May 2009, meaning that only licensed onshore migration agents will be in a position to offer advice to individuals and families hoping to relocate to New Zealand. As of 4 May, all New Zealand-based migration agents will require a government recognised permit to offer their services. In order to ensure that this policy is strictly followed, the government has stated that any applications lodged by unapproved agents will be automatically failed. |
