Education reforms for upcoming election guarantee boost for skilled teachers with Australian visas |

Australia’s Prime Minister John Howard announced his parties education reforms in the run up to the federal election. If re-elected he promises to fund the creation of new technical colleges to help ease the skills shortage seen in most sectors of Australian business. Opposition leader Kevin Rudd’s education policy also calls for the additional teachers to help bring class sizes down, so whichever party wins the election, there’s going to be a lot of opportunities for qualified teachers to take up positions in Australia. |
