IT professionals may now have their documents certified by registered migration agents, according to an announcement by the Australian Computer Society.

The body, which assesses all IT-related immigration applications, now does not require applicants to seek out public notaries such as solicitors and judges for verification.

"This will make the administration process much swifter for all involved," says Douglas Eckhart, Skills Administrator at Overseas Emigration Visas.
