Jill Mansfield tells the story of how OE visas' Canadian representative Eric Katz helped her through every step of the Canadian immigration process.

Jill and her partner have been living in BC since June 2008, and are happy to offer advice and share stories with UK citizens considering a move across the pond.

I emigrated to BC, Canada on 21 June 2008. I started the process back
in August of 2007, and used Overseas Emigration Visas, based in
Edinburgh (being a Scot, this made sense to me).
The company allocated me Mr Eric Katz as my Canadian legal contact
and representative. All throughout the process, Mr Katz and Emi (his
paralegal) were attentive, replying quickly to any queries I had. We
spoke on the phone a number of times too - which took a bit of setting
up, due to time differences! - and these were also very helpful and
fruitful.

Mr Katz left no stone unturned, and only put in my
application when every single piece of paper had been filled in
correctly. Mr Katz's input made sure that there were no hiccups with
the application at Mississagua, then again when my application reached
the Canadian High Commission in London. He kept me up to date at all
times during my emigration process, and has continued to keep in touch
- making sure I am happy in my new surroundings.

I would highly recommend Mr Katz as your legal representative, if you
are thinking about emigrating.
