Questions:

I'm a 27 year old maths teacher in the UK with PGCE and qualified teacher status enjoying my first year teaching. I score 110 points on the Australian Government immigration points test. If I teach here in the UK for another 3 years I will have the much coveted 10 extra points but am eager to make a move to Sydney as soon as possible. Is it likely that by using the skills matching database I will be successful? What proportion of teachers within the pool mark are successful.
Hi. My husband and I are hoping to move to Australia next year on a class 136 visa. His mother is 63 and retired - is there any way she could come with us? We wondered if there was any way for us to sponsor her? She would be looking at bringing around £80,000 with her from the sale of her house. Many thanks.
My wife (age 33) Myself (45) out chilren (aged 1 and 3) would like to emigrate to Tazmania, we have £100,000+ cash from the sale of our home. I run a property improvements company. I have a limited criminal record (Affray, driving offences from years ago) what are the limitations regarding my situation, my wife is Japaneese with full UK residency rights. Would liek to buy 2 small properties and rennovate and rent one out and start a small improvements business (kitchens/bathrooms). I would not have much of a record if it were not for a few police being filthy stinking liars.

I have never used the pool. You may want to consider onshore work experience & employer sponsored if you are in a hrry rather than the pool. Call Richard Gregan 0131 625 6906 for advice and guidance.

Contributory Parent. You would need to be resident for 2 years before beginning the process and she would have to pre-pay her Medicare etc. Call us for further guidance.

1/ offence doesnt sound as if it would keep you out of the country although I am not sure if your explanation would be satisfactory to the decision maker - they tend to look for rehabilitiation, remorse and lack of liklihood of reoffending. 2/ I am unsure of how you would qualify from the information provided. Skill or business? Call Owen Small for assistance - 0131 625 6918.

He can hinder you - rather than stop you. The ultimae decision maker would be a judge if it came down to a major dispute.
