Hi, my partner and i wish to move to aus (we are 31 and 33 yrs) as all my close family already live there or are about to move there. We are both care assistance and have 30 years experience and training between us but our jobs are not on the skilled list. Is there any other way we could get over to aus to be with my family they are all prepared to sponser us? If we found an employer willing to sponser us would that work or not as we are not on the skilled list? Could we go over and try and find work and a sponser while we are there? There must be a way please help? many thanks.

Some banks do carry your credit history over. You may want to consider coming to one of our "pre departure" seminars (next one is in March) where all of this is dealt with.

Your student visa will eventually be cancelled if you do not meet the course requirements. My advice is to see a MARA Registered AGent near you to get this matter sorted out. www.themara.com.au

Generally it is preferred if you are outside the US when a spouse application is made.

Age is OK for both Canada and NZ.

The only way that COULD be explored is "last remaning family member" from what I can see. Call the number above to discuss with a UK BAsed Australian Registered Migration Agent with MARA.

You may well not be able to get a mortgage or get a mortgage at higher rates than someone with a good credit rating.

You now no longer qualify. Ther have been a few occsions when we have been able to get exceptional circumstances proved and get people through. this largley depends upon where you want to live and what occupation you have. Fill in the on line assesment and we will get back to you if it is possible in your case.

Unles you need to place a $100K bond for 5 points - there is no requirement of cash for a visa to be granted. From a practical viewpoint having a reasonable amount will help you settle in as opposed to strugging in your first few years.

possibly - I would need to see your CV first. Use the free assesment service on this site. Or Ring and ask for Mark Welch.

From a migration point of view -technically, yes, you can. The "character" criteria can always be used which could potentially cause a problem.
