Questions:

I have an eight year old son. I was not at any point married to his father, his father's name is not on the birth certificate, in fact I do not even know where he lives. Would this cause me a problem if I want to emigrate with my son?
I along with my wife and 2 children are due to fly out to oz after recievieng my Permanent next visa's late December. I have credit cards and store cards with a few loans here & there... the debt totals approx £35,000 (the highest single amount being 10K). If i wnet to oz and left these debts will it effect my credit rating in oz. I will be renting for a year and so will be applying for a mortgage in a years time. do they use expearian and equofax as well...?
are trades that are on the demand list actually in DEMAND in oz only we are applying and friends of ours have not long been out there he is a brickie and has said there is absolutly NO full time jobs going out there just a few weeks at a time they are in melbourne in victoria if this is so why are these put as jobs in DEMAND when we have given up all to go there to find out this news

thanks for the fast answer, i think i have all i need to go to the embassy , both forms as i have the caution will they say there and then, i am going on dec 13th my travel date is march 5th and nov 6th. i didnt actually steel the 2 dvds but i was advised to say i did to get a caution. any advise you can give me please
I have to been to the usa many many time but this year after a stupid arrest for theft of 2 dvds i was cautioned, i have no other police record. if i apply for a visa for a holiday will i get one

I am 29 years old and im looking at going back to college to train as an electrcian or plumber and i was wondering how many years experience would i need to have before i apply for Permanent residency in Oz? Thanks for any help
My husband has been granted an Australian spousal visa and we are now planning to move next year. We have inbetween been granted and IVA to sort out our UK debt. We have a monthly amount to pay for 60 months. Will this effect us in Australia? Does Australia have a reciprical debt arrangement with the UK?
i am student in London. My visa will expiry end of the net month. When i have to apply my visa?

	Normally you wouldnt have any problem from a "Hague Convention" country in your circumstances. Biological fathers could mount a court action based on DNA etc to stop you immigrating if they had a mind to do so.

	Yes - it would affect your credit rating - and yes they would (in my experience) track down a £35K debtor.

	The DEMAND list relates to the whole of Australia - not just Melbourne. Yes Bricklaying is a highly employable trade - but you may have to be fleible as to where you live to get a position.

	minimum 12 months post qualification experience.

	It may well affect your credit rating in Australia. There is no reciprical "debt" agreement.
