I have gone through the NZ skilled migrant category visa interview. It has been 2 months since the interview still no decision from them. I got mail from my visa officer that he is still waiting for some verification results. I don't know What still they are verifying after the visa interview? Do you anything about this?

No - as non taxpayers in the UK - you get no benefits.

I can think of 20 single parents I have sent out to Australia over the past year or so. Podiatrists are highly employable BTW.

Hi, In your shoes I would ask myself these questions in this order. 1/ Do we all REALLY want to go? 2/ Do we have the time, aptitude and confidence to handle our own paperwork etc. If yes to both - you dont need an agent. If Q/ 2 leaves you unsure ring either Mark Welch or Luke Jeffrey whose numbers sre on this site and have a discussion about what options are open to you. If I wanted a brick wall built I would definetly employ someone like you - I am rubbish at laying bricks and I know it. On the other hand if I needed a plug changing on an appliance I would do it myself as it is straightforaward and I have done it several times before - therefore I have confidence I can get it right first time.

Hi Sharon, Firstly, I think you need to speak to one of us at OE. You need to be fully appraised of the basics. 1/ Your husband should be fine with his work expereience - I would need to check his paper qualifications to see how relevant they are. 2/ You go to a "panel" Dr. 3/ Reasonable amount of money - ball park - £8K sd s minimum in your back pocket on day of arrival would be just about survivable without too much hardship. Obviously the more capital you have the softer the landing you will experience.

You could go on a "student" type visa. Or if you want to go on a skilled visa you need to have an ocupation that is required in cananda.

A visa officers timescale varies all the time. My best "guesstimate" is 2 days to 3 months at worst in the recent past.
