Questions:
I have gone through the NZ skilled migrant category visa interview.
It has been 2 months since the interview still no decision from them.
They had already taken 6 months before while I submitted my documents and they had called me for a visa interview.
I don't know What still they are verifying after the visa interview?
I am an Austalian citizen residing in the Uk and would like to move back with my British husband and his mother. Am I right in thinking that we have to be resident in Australia for 2 years before she can move out? She is not dependent on us but only has a private pension, which is enough to live on. I would be willing to sponsor her.
i'm holding a working permit at the moment. it will be expired on 31 MAC 2007. i live more than 2 years in Melbourne. i would like to apply a permanent visa. what shall i do?
I am a qualified carpenter wanting to emmigrate to australia, i am just about to lodge all my documents for assessment with the trades recognition authority. I have 2 questions, can i use a solicitor to certify all my document copies and also do they contact all my past employers to verify there statements? If they do how will they do so.
I would like to immigrate to Australia. I am 40 years old, I have an NVQ in IT, I work as an administrator and have had varied experience in public and private sector. Do you think I stand chance?

Hi. My husand and I are looking to emigrate to Australia via skilled migration (I have enough points). I have an older brother and sister with learning difficulties, who live in a residential home. There are only the 3 of us left, our parents died some years ago. Will this have any bearing on my ability to get a visa, since they don't live with me? And is there any way I would be able to bring them over to Australia once me and my husband were settled, if I guaranteed to be responsible for their welfare so that they weren't a burden to the state? Many thanks if you can help.
My son and family may be emigrating to New Zealand in a couple of years. Would my husband and I be abe to also join them in about 5 years when we are both retired. We would have about £500,000.
Himy husband and I are looking to emigrate to Austrailia. We have two children 7 and 12. My husband is a web developer and has worked in this field for the last 12 years. I work for the NHS taking 999 calls. We are both 41 years old and own our own home in UK. What chance would we have applying for visas.| Questions & Answers | |

2 years is genarally accepted as being "settled" She MUST pass Balance of family" test and health and character. Ring for a free 5 minute chat because this catergory of visa is quite complex. |

without full knowledge of your file I am afraid I can offer limited advice. When your draft is cashed your application generally accepted. |

This would depend upon what you do for a living - unless one of you is a US citizen. |

I dont think this will work for your brother and sister unfortunately. Their problems wont have any affect on your application though. |
