Questions:
My friend is a permanent resident of Australia and has resided in Australia for the last 2 years continuously and would now like to apply for citizenship but in her own country in the last 18mths she has been declared a bankrupt over some financial scan her brother got her into using her name. She is an Australian medical graduate and has two teenage sons who have also qualified to become citizens as they have settled in Autstralai. Will the immigration department consider her request for citizenship ?
I work as a Personal Trainer and would like to relocate to Sydney i am single 31 years old and ready to go anytime. I hold International qualifications to a high standard and have over 7 years experience within the industry. What type of visa could i go on as my job does not appear on the skilled list ?
I am an Australian citizen who moved to the US 1 year ago and have obtained my residency after marrying an American. I am not happy in the States and would like to go back home taking my husband with me. Could you tell me what factors would prevent him from being able to join me. He has been on a disability but has now gone off it and has his own pressure washing and painting business. I would have no problem in getting people from home to sponsor him and I'm sure that being a very experienced Executive Assistant that I would be able to fall back into the work force without too much of a problem.
I meant a Working visa rather than a holiday visa as below. Will my previous bankruptcy affect this?
I'm from the UK and have recently been bankrupt, but am now discharged. I wanted to know if this will this affect my chances of firstly getting a holiday visa to Australia which I want to do in the next 2 years, and secondly ever living in Australia permanently?
Same question as below but for New Zealand
what would be the bestjob to be qualified for to improve chances of exceptance into canada

My partner & I want to move to Australia but we have concerns regarding a £26,000- debt which we had 6 years ago & are not sure if it has been wiped off because we heard after 5 years the debt gets ritten off. Is this true? also can we still move if we have still got the debt? If not, could we move over for 2 years then come back with the intention of paying the debt back!?

Technically they could consider this as a character issue. But I would doubt this will have any effect on her citizenship application. |

No debts do not get written off after 5 years. Australia and New Zealand MAY consider evading the debt as a "character isssue" and refuse you. You would certainly have a job getting a mortgage or any credit isn your new country. I am not a debt specialist - you should speak to one. |
