iam a registered nurse in Papua New Guinea and am currently studying Pathology atTafe(Brisbane).i would like to find out how I can migrate and work as a nurse in Australia?
i am plannng to go to the us for a holiday how long can i stay in the country for at one time
Hi Richard, we spoke today regarding migration to australia, and a certain visa migration company thats dealing with our application. I asked them about a tracking number but they have replied by saying there's no such thing. If after 6 months they haven't heard anything they will start chasing. Can you confirm this as i thought you had said there was such a thing but they might not want to give me it?
I am a qualified teacher and have been for 4 years, my huband works in his family business in the woodworking manufacturing industry for 8 years, but has no formal qualifications. What are the chances of us being accepted in Australia on a permenant basis?
emigrating to New Zealand and UK debts hello myself and my wife are both qualified nurses, we have some debts in the uk that we have always met payemtnts of, however its killing us, we have recently begun the process of emigrating to New Zealand and a new life as nurses. what i want to know is what happens if i paid half of all my debts off and left the rest outstanding and movied out there? would this stop us emigrating? would this effect us becoming citizens would this effect our chance of mortgages out there? and finally would UK try to chase debts overseas? many thanks as i cant find any information on the web on these issues and your site is a blessing
Hi, I've been divorced for 18months, I have 3 children, and my ex has remarried and plans to move to the US very shortly for a new life. I currently pay over £650 per month (£160per week)yet still have to provide clothing for them when they come to visit each weekend plus for holidays etc. Do I have to continue to pay this level of maintenance? as I won't be able to see my children each weekend as I do now, plus my ex is asking for payment for them to visit through the holidays each year and collect them from an airport that is over 300miles away from where I live. Supportive answers only please.
If by any chance you would know how much time does it take for getting a Skilled migrant category decision of NZ once somebody has got through the visa interview?
Hi there, our question concerns New Zealand and the LTBV. My husband and I have been running a successful, but small business, in the IT sector for 12 years (annual revenue around £200k, profit ratio about 60%. 2007 predicts a significant fall to around £50k as we need to develop new markets. As we want to move to NZ we would prefer to make the application now rather than develop the business in the UK. The aim being to apply under the LTBV and hop across to Residency after 2 years. I am looking for guidance in writing the business plan to ensure the presentation and language is right with particular regard to the proposal being of benefit to the New Zealand economy. Can your organisation help with this? May I also ask whether the business has to employ staff and whether they look for a minimum level of turnover and profit. We have the right business experience and capital. Many thanks.
I am a UK qualified nurse and would like to apply for PR in NZ. I have recently entered into an IVA as an alternative to bankruptcy, will this affect my application for residency?

depending upon your age and your skills assesment (which is on MODL) you just apply. My advice is always go for a permanent visa as opposed to a 457 temporary visa.

depending upon the country you come from - a 90 day visa is relatively easy to come by.

This kind of tells its own story, doesnt it? DO NOT USE UN-REGISTERED AGENTS. They are either thieves, liars, well meaning incompetents or just incompetent. www.themara.com.au - if the PERSON you are dealing with is not on this list then he/she has no professional responsibility to you. Do not use someone who has a MARA agent in another country who "franchises their number" (this is just my my opinion ). A MARA registered agent will lose their licence for giving false or misleading information. Someone who is not registered has no accountability to you the client.

It is generally spoeaking an easier and cheaper (on your behalf) application to go with you as the prinicipal applicant as a teacher. Call Richard Gregan 0131 625 6906

Taking this course of action can certainly have bad effects on yor credit rating. Some banks are more persistant than others in chasing debt. WE CAN DISCUSS THIS ON THE PHPNE AT NO CHARGE IF YOU PREFER> RICHARD GREGAN )

In my experience - no it will not. I have read of cases where it has caused citizenship problems - but this was an extreme case. NZ is desperate for nurses. Go for it.

Under current regulations it could be just about do-able. The main issue is recent work expeerience. Not a DIY job - check www.themara.com.au for a professional in your neck of the woods.
