i have been a qualified pipe-fitter for 10 years and wish to emigratre to australia with my wife. is this trade recognised and will it qualify me as i can seem to find it on any of the occupation lists.
My partner and I wish to migrate to Australia. I am an Administrator and he has been training as a Carpenter for 3 years. We have been told that he needs 6 years experience to qualify for a Skilled Visa. Before taking up Carpentry we was a Farm worker since leaving college and has loads of certificates for this. We worked in Perth on a farm for approx 5 months and we would be able to get sponsorship through my partners Aunt. Is farming reqognised as a skill - if not what sort of visa would we need to apply for. Any help with this would be appreciated

I am looking to apply for a 90 day visitor visa to the USA. I am looking for advice on how to apply. I was convicted for possession of cannabis 7 years ago (no intent to supply) at the time I was let off with a warning and fine. I am a qualified nurse and could easily get work in Australia. However I have a 2 year old son and a partner who is skilled in tiling but withiut a qualification. We have debts here but can we apply for emmigration on this basis or does this not come into account.
