Our current average time is around 9 weeks.

Not my area of expertise. I would always advise you to settle your debts though - Banks/Governments/etc all talk to each other.

I am assuming you have permanent visas. If so then you have 5 years "RRV" or returning residents visa. This means you have 5 years to re-enter Australia (from the date of grant) If you have a new bairn (god bless the wee things) you will have to apply for a child visa if you are outside Oz at the time f birth. Congratulations if you are in the family way - BTW!

Her ability to sponsor you is determined by her NZ status. If she is a citizen - then no problem - she can sponsor you though current processing times (1/06) are circa 9 months!

Generally speaking you must gain "FIRB" approval. This is The foriegn investment review board and most temp visas this is a formality. New homes off the plan pretty much anyone can buy.

You should pass TRA as a 60 point occupation - based on the information supplied.

Yes - we can help. Fill in the Online Assesment form here. Your mother can be sponsored when you have been settled for two years. There are ways of course where she can visit for a substantial period of that time.

No - not always. You can get approval prior to departure for both of you.

I am afraid to say it does not look good - unless you have experience running a business, or we can look at whether you would qualify for a last remaining family member visa. Please call Owen - 0131 625 6918

Red Card is a Tradesman's requirement in NSW - ABN = Australian Business Number (sort of like a VAT number from the UK)
