Questions:

I am immigrating to Canada this coming July and have been told i need to take 3 months worth of travel insurance with me as i can't get cover there until that time. Where can i get insurance for this? Most companies need you to be coming back to the UK.
I"m an american in love with a man from the UK. We talk everyday on the computer,by phone or text. We are deeply in love and want to marry. He has been here on visits. Is it legal for us to marry on his next visit? Or what can we do to keep us together?
my boyfriend is from the UK. He wants to come and live here in the US. We want to marry. What is the best way for us to handle this situation. Please help. Thank you. Kimberly
Hi, I want to emigrate to Australia, and have possibly found a job to go to. Would this help me to have a job lined up? Also i have family (Uncle) who will sponser me. He lives in Perth, but i want to work in Brisbain. Will this be a problem? Do i need to live with him to be sponsered? Also, i have a IVA (Involentry Solvency Agreement). Will this stop me from emigrating? You asked; What is your nominated occupation on SOL? Without this you cant go under "skilled" stream. I have had a look. I have worked for the past 8 years for a contract drug research company, as a Animal Technician/ Research assistant. So maybe Medical lab tech officer? AIMS. Not sure, what do you think?

Hi I would like to apply for a skilled worker visa to Canada, and at the moment I qualify. I read on the Canadian immigration Site that 80% of visas last year had taken 44 months to process. The quickest 20% were still 20 months. This seems to be a VERY long time. Is it correct? If so how long in comparison would the equivalent visa take to New Zealand? Thanks for being sooo helpful!!

Hi ya, we have now forwarded all our paperwork including medicals and up to date police reports to the DIMIA in relation to a visa under Skilled sub class 137 (my partner is a brickie and has received confirmation from the state to of Victoria of there sponsorship under subclass). Have you any idea what the average timescales from receipt of all paperwork to us receiving our final and long await decision? Thanks alot, PS would just like to say service you provide by answering various questions is FAB.

You will need to get his visa when he is outside the country. This wont stop you getting married when he is next there.

Two problems I can see here. AIM is quite hard to get through without a degree or good HND (sometimes HNC) Where does your uncle live in Perth? If its metro I think it would be difficult for you to qualify assuming a positive skills assesment as this is a 40 point occupation. If your uncle lives in Regional Australia then you may have a chance!

Yes _ Afraid Canada is SLOWWWWW at the mo - but they are investing in staff and training to speed up the process. NZ - currently taking around 3 to 5 months if you score highly enough.

You should (depending upon recognition of your University) qualify for HSMP to Uk and also to Canada (depending on AGe. Remember - health and character are also factors that must be taken into account.

This is way too complex to get into here. A lot depends on your sisters status and your "skill". See a US attorney.

Hello, Our "average" timescale is between 3 to 5 weeks at present. This can be extended if there is "sponsorship" and or assurer issues - or if there is a problem at "health & character"
