Questions:

My husband and I are in our 60s. Our daughter is a joint UK/Australian citizen having lived in Perth for 17 years. We have recently visited and would be interested in joining her. What do we need to qualify for immigration to Australia?
Hi My partner and I really wish to emigrate sooner rather than later but he is currently on a modern apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, he will finish in Jun 2006, at the same time he goes to night school doing plumbing, again this will finish in June 2006. He's been working in the industry for the last 2 and would get good references. We have been told we may be able to get accepted on the basis he finishes his course in the country we emigrate to, is this possible? If so where should we go from here? also is it easier to get accepted if your married? We've been together for 3 years and lived together for 10 months. Thanks

My husband and I with our two teenage boys are considering Australia or New Zealand for a new life. My husband is an Operations Manager and has Level 4 NVQ in Management and I currently works as an Event Co-ordinator. We appear not to have our jobs listed on the skills list. Do we both have to retrain? What can we do to begin a new life? Please help as we are very frustrated as we are young, enthusiastic, keen and a very fit family looking for a new challenge together. Thanks

I have 3 years experience in software development as a software engineer. I'll like to apply for the temporary one year working holiday visa. May I know what is my chance of getting it?
To Whom It May Concern, I知 a mechanical engineer and I知 planning to immigrate to Australia. I was graduated three years ago. I致e two questions about permanent residence visa and I値l be so delighted if you would please guide me. During the last year of my study, I was working part time. Thanks so much for your guide and I値l appreciate your kind answer. I値l be very glad to hear from you. Sincerely Yours, A.R. Gharavi
please help my husband has been nominated on a work visa to canada he left on 18th April he has taken all the paperwork with him. I have now been told me and our children can't fly without any supporting paperwork. Our flights are booked for the 25th April. thanks Nicky
My husband and son in law have been offered employment in Australia by the employer who employed my husband some years ago on a working holiday visa. My husband and I applied in 1997 and were refused as he had not had enough experience in his trade at that time. Will this affect anything? We are unsure how to proceed i.e. which visa do we need....do we need to apply as two separate families.......what about debts in England....do all debts need to be cleared? This kind of information is so hard to find
can u tell me after applying for skilled visa i will get permanent residence visa or temporary visa.

There are several routes in. The most common at present is "Contributory Parent" - Basically you give the Australian Government a whole bunch of money (circa 」20K Sterling) You must pass Health and Character criteria AND BALANCE OF FAMILY test.

Hello, Post qualification work experience is also required. I would recommend you fill in our online assesment (free of charge) and we can look closely to see if he could be considered an "experience only" qualified tradesman. The marriage seems to meet the criteria and you would be considered his spouse and would "tag along" with your partner.
hi i am currently in the process of doing a child nurses diploma, when i have finished i would like to emigrate to the usa would that qualification be enough/recognised ?
This depends on what type of qualification. If you are a registered child nurse (ukcc) then yes. If it is an NNEB then probably not.

Hello Ryan, You cannot apply for anything other than a tourist or sponsored child visa till you are 18.
