Questions:

hi, i am planning on immigrating to western australia soon but i am worried about the two cautions (not criminal convictions) that was both recieved over a year ago. I wondered if this would stop me from getting in to the country?
I have a company willing to sponsor me and provide accommodation but have said I need to start the application. The job is just a standard sales job and I don't meet any 'skills' criteria. I have recently worked for them on a WHV but have now returned to UK. What visa should I apply for with a view to permenent residency?
how long would it take for a canadian citizen to sponsor an employee outside canada?
I have a 2 year university diploma in social work with 2 years job experience, my husband has a 2 year HNC obtained at a college in Computer Networking and 2 years job experience would these count as a 2 year trade certificate ? we are also under 35 years of age do we qualify to emigrate to Canada?
emigrating without fathers permission
Hi, I am applying for a Skilled Independent (subclass 136) visa. Can you tell me if there is any benefit in having more than 120 points (eg, would the application be more likely to be passed?) Thanks.
I am currently working in Australia as a teacher on a 4 year visa. I have large personal debts in U.K. and am finding it near impossible to keep up with payments. If I declare myself bankrupt in U.K. will this affect my chances of obtaining permanent residency in Australia.
I have been advised by a migration agent that i would not be able to complete the trades assessment without help from them as all the statements from employers etc need to be worded a particular way of which she would not disclose, i have read all the info and it seems fairly straight forward, all the information neded is there in black and white. If i do it myself and it is not worded correctly, even though all the information is there will it be returned unsuccessful? (australia)
I am a 45 year old female who has worked at Technical Officer level(18 months) and Planning Officer level(3 1/2years) in a local authority Planning department. I have a HNC in Bus Admin and an NVQ 3 in Town Planning Support. Would the combination of experience and qualification allow me to migrate as a Planning Officer? Also, my husband is on the skill matching database as a QAM. Are there any dedicated recruitment services which would be able to find him an emplyer who is willing to sponsor him from the database?
My wife and I are in the process of getting a temporary work visa for New Zealand. If we were living in New zealand and had a baby out there, would that entitle us to permanent residency as our baby would be a kiwi by birth? Many thanks, Neil, Wirral

A caution can be taken into consideration by the deciding officer if it is on your PNC check form. In my experience it is only convictions they are concerned with.

Empoyer Nomination is probably the best bet. But the employer does the first application. There are temporary options for 4 years to consider?

It can be handled in about 3 months at present.

Comments:NOT advisable, Australia is signatory to the Hague Convention for Child Abduction. I would strongly advise you to go through the correct channels in gaining permission from the father or through the courts. If not you can be charged with criminal offences and can be extradited to the UK if charges are brought against you here.

Comments:No, you meet policy you meet policy simple as that, you do not get brownie points for getting more, it will not be processed faster nad the case offcier will only assess the 120 points to meet policy. In some cases where you feel that some points may be a gray area you can claim more such as investment as a fall back.

Comments:Being declared bankrupt is not a criminal offence. The only time this will affect an Australian visa application is if it is for a Business Visa Category.

Comments:Using the services of an agent is the same as using an accountant or a tax agent. You can do it yourself and take the risk or like most people who cant be bothered will pay an expert todo it. I have had many clients who have come to us after failing their TRA 1 and 2 times who are eligible. For TRA as agent we prepare this application with the main DIMIA application in mind, so we are preparing references with two application in mind. One has to consider that if the 1st visa application fails a second application will be more difficult. However if you feel you clearly meet criteria and can provide all the required information then give it a go. However in most cases with TRA i would advise you to use an agent. Main reason is you need to meet Australia skills criteria and quite often people get too cought up with what they have in the UK and dont realise it will be assessed differently in Aus.

If you have passed your 45th birthday - skilled migration is no longer an option for you. I sugst you give us a call to discuss your husbands situation.

No it wouldnt. In the past the baby would have been eligible for citizenship and then you can use that to asssit in getting permanent residency. But recently Feb 2006 the laws have changed and at least 1 parent of the child born in NZ must be an NZ permanent resident.
