Hi, my wife and I, 2 teenaged daughters and my retired parents are looking into emigrating to NZ.We would be applying for entry via a Business Visa, but can not find any information regarding Retirement Visa's for my parents. What are the options for us all to emigrate together? my parents have no other family and would have to come with us. My parents and brothers have recently gone to Australia on a 457. I was not included in the original application as I was out of the country on holiday (not working) for 3 months. Is it possible to obtain a visitors visa to Australia then lodge an application as the dependant of the principle 457 visa (being my father. I have returned to the uk jobless, moneyless and homeless (staying with relatives at the moment)
Hi. I am from India. I am planning to apply for migration under 136. The problem is that I am presently working with a co. since past 8 years. I do not want my employers to know about my intention to migrate before I receive my visas, else it might jeopardise my interests. Can I put my application to include such documentation, which can ensure the dept. do not cross verify with my present employers? Can I put a request for not verifying with my present employers (Its ok if they confirm with my old employers). I want to avoid someone calling or visiting my present employer to confirm. Can provide work reference letter (issued for some other purpose), salary slip, annual summary of wages (Form 16) etc. Please guide me. Your reply will help me in making decision to migrate or not. Thanks, Munna.

Hi there, My Husband and I are Canadian citizens with dual nationality, we were both born in England to British parents. We really want to live in Australia. My husband has a trade that is on the Skilled list and he passes the requirements to get in. My question is, will it be ok to emmigrate having already 2 other passports and will there be any problems?
I'm applying for NZ residence under the partnership policy & little confused over the fee. From what I've seen, I need to pay $1200 NZD to the office in London. Is this right? If so how do I obtain a cheque for dollars when I only have an English bank account? If I'm completely mislead, please correct me as I want to send my visa application off ASAP! Thanks :-)
I'm Canadian/Australian and my new wife is Australian. We live in Australia and hope to immigrate to Canada in July. We applied over the internet for the one year working holiday program to Canada for my wife. Is it possible when we get to Canada for me then to apply to sponsor my wife for her to obtain permanant residency? Or should we not be using a different visa than the one year working holiday program.
Is it possible to process a working visa in uk even if the applicant is outside of uk and how long will the processing be...and the cost including the immigration lawyers fee?
Can I apply for a skilled visa if i have already had a 2yr working visa to the uk?

You cannot sponsor a boyfriend. You can sponsor a spouse. He should look for an alternative entry route - like student or sponsored worker!

NZ does not have a retirement visa as such. Parent visas can only be activated when you have lived there for a 2 year period. Call me to discuss - 0131 625 6906

Yes - an application could be made. You will need an agent for this though. I would advise you to seek assistance from your fathers agent in Australia.

You seem to be on the right track with what you propose. This happens frequently and DIMA are usually understanding.

No problem whatsoever. I will have 5 passports and citizenships by the end of this year.

You can have as many passports as you like and still emigrate to a new country.

Visit the NZIS website. Go to fees and offices. It will tell you there how to pay in £ sterling.

I like your strategy. Only problem is - it may take longer than 1 year to process where your wife could be in "limbo" so to speak.
