Questions:

How do I get a police check to submit with my 457 visa application?
Myself and my fiance are planning to emigrate to OZ but my partner is on prescribed methodone on a reduction programme. She has worked as a civil servant for the past four years and her employers are fully aware of her medical history. Will this stop us getting a visa.
Hi! I am currently living with my professional Australian partner (of over 2 provable years), but I am on a Working Holiday Visa which runs out in December of this year. I have been offered sponsership within an engineering company, or I could apply for a defacto visa. Problem is that 8 years ago I was convicted of class A drug offense, and given 150 hours community service and one years probation. Never been in any trouble before or after. I also lied to get my working holiday visa and proclaimed that I had no criminal charges. Do I have any chance of living in Oz? Would I be in trouble for lying? Thankyou.
obstructive sleep apnea i that a problem for visa apl?
We are looking to emigrate to NZ in the new year. Our son has a few problems, dyspraxia, attention deficit(both very mild). He has some help in the classroom, and occasional physio. He is very intelligent, and amongst the top of the class. When we attended a NZ expo we were told not to even both mentioning his problems as they were not medical and he looked like any other 9 year old.He is independent and has not seen a doctor since he had his tonsils removed aged 5. Can you forsee any problems before we start laying out the money for medicals.
Please can you help, we have just sent off our meds to dimia, I myself have high blood pressure and take tablets, which is controlled,I had a letter done from my own GP stating what I take and that I had blood tests done and all is controlled, will they refuse me a visa, my hubby is the main appl on the visa. I await your reply, thank you.
We are planning to emmigrate with our 3 children. They are nervous about the medical and what general health check ups will be done. Is it a good idea to have a medical and then have another one when it is requested by DIMIA so that if anything requires investigation, it can be sorted out earlier?
I would like to apply for a skilled worker visa but my partner has had a heroin addiction. She has been on prescribed methadone for a number of years now and has reduced to only a very small amount and should be off it within the next 6 months. Will this cause a problem with our application.
My wife has suffered from depression on and off for a number of years, and 2 years ago she was admitted to hospital after an overdose. It wasn't a serious overdose and she was only kept in overnight. Since then she's had bouts of depression, where she's taken anti-depressants for about 6 months and then felt okay enough to be off them again. Is this going to stop her from getting a visa to move to Australia as a skilled migrant? Thanks :)
My partner has just had his BC PNP application approved. I am a spouse (not principal applicant) - will a drink driving conviction 8.5 years ago affect our chances? \I have no other convictions at all, I'm now a mother so would never risk D&D again. Thank you!

The advice to not even mention your son's condition is questionable ethically at best and you could be refused for a fraudulent application at worst. You need help to get this through. Talk to me directly on 0131 625 6906. Richard Gregan.

Generally most cases of mild high blood pressure, well controlled with "cheap" drugs and with a good prognosis will be approved in my experience.

You will have a problem - but it is not insurmountable. After 5 years from conviction you can be classed as "rehabiliatated". This will require some help.
