Questions:

hi i have just returned from oz on 1 year working visa, before that i was on a 3 month tourist visa where i met my current partner i then continued travelling to nz where i decided to apply for my 1 y visa. I have lived for the past 12 months with my partner and her daughter in oz and i am now pursuing a de facto visa as i only lived with and only contributed in a cash manner all bills were in her name the only things i have in my name is car insurance and the letters from friends family and proffesional people will this be enough or shall i go for a skilled visa which i inmagine will take longer
How much proof and variety of proof is needed as evidence of living together for a defacto visa? are bills (council tax, utility etc.) and bank accounts enough? my concern lies with the fact that my australian partner and i rent a flat in the uk and have done so for a year and a half but with only my name on the tenancy agreement. we're not looking to move for another year so is it worth getting the contract rewritten to include his name? thanks in anticipation of your help on this!!!
I am soon to be divorced and have no children. I am british born but have no relatives living in England. My brother resides in Australia and is willing to sponsor me. I have a sister who lives in Canada and is married and she has two children. I also have a mother in Sri Lanka. I have very rare contact with either of them. Occassional phone calls etc. Would I be able to apply under the remaining relative category if I wish to immigrate to Auz.

My 457 expired in April 2006 so I am unable to return on this. Is there an approximate processing time for a sub class 100 visa for Aus?
Hi, I am a UK citizen and have been living in Australia for 8 years (457 visa) where I met my partner 6 years ago and we now have 2 children together. Both my partner and kids are Aus citizens. Last year we came to live in the UK but now want to return to Australia to live. What is the best visa for me to apply for and do you know the approximate processing time as we really want to return as soon as possible. We are not currently married but plan to do this once we are settled back in Aus. Thank you

You need an hour with a MARA registered agent, experienced in this type of application to make the call after weighing up all the facts.

As much jointly named financial details as possible. LEase isnt a dealbreaker if you have plently of other stuff.

Hello. Pleased all is well. Your son may well qualify for a "last Remaining FAmily member". Call me (Richard - 0131 625 6906) or whomever you first spoke with. I am away for 10 days as of this Saturday.

4 to 6 weeks if I handle it and there are no big problems in gathering evidence.

There could be little argument you would qualify for a spouse visa 100 (permanent residence from the start). If your 457 is still in date you could go tomorrow.
