Questions:

I am Australian and my son is a citizen by descent, my husband of 20 years is English and has had asthma since he was 5, he has now been told that he has COPD, will this stop him being able to emigrate to Aus? Also will his age be a factor he is 47?
My boyfriend and I may like to move to New Zealand in the near future (both UK citizens). He recieved a caution for Obtaining services by deception 3 years ago whilst at uni (for using a bus without a ticket). He has an otherwise impeccable record and is working as a lawyer. How would this affect an application for New Zealand residency? Also, his work may require short notice trips to the US - would this count as moral turpitude? If so would it be possible to get a long term business visa?
Our one son is on 10 mg of Ritalin a day due to a learning disability . He also has a passive murmur. My husband has been offered a job in Brisbane and we would be going on a employee sponsored Visa. Would our sons ' ailments " hinder out application ?
I was charged with OUIL-causing a death 5years ago I'm almost done with probation and want to travel to austrailia to visit friends. Can I?
when i get my police check will it come back as no previous convictions as they are spent( i know this does not apply to overseas) but was wondering if it would and its up yo me to declare them or will it say all my previous convictions

we are a family of four applying for migration to Perth WA, we have got medicals in two weeks and have spent loads to date using an agent. My husbands skills have been accepted but the crunch comes at the medicals; I have a prolapse disc which has been treated and resolved, I am taking seroxat and have been for ten years for depression and finally I am overweight. Apart from my issues we have a twelve year old son who is on the autistic spectrum and attends a special school. What advice can you offer and do you thinkwe have a real chance?
if overweight will it effect the application to migrate to australia
My husband has had a heart triple bypass and is now recovering well, would this affect our emigration.

For a spouse visas his age is not relevant. I am unsure of COPD - so see previous answers to FAQS re medical situations.

For once I feel confident in being catergoric and saying - this wont affect him going to Nz and this is not an impediment for US entry.

They could. See previous answers regarding costs to the Australian Health commmunity. I believe you would benefit from some professional representation in this matter. If the firm sposnsoring your husband is using an Agent - get him/her on the phone asap. If you have no one I am available on 0131 625 6906 (Richard Gregan)

You would not be a candiate for an Electronic Visa. You should apply to your nearest Australian mission and have them decide! I would have some reservations. If I knew all the circumstances perhaps I could help.
