Questions:
HELLO. ME AND MY FIANCE ARE GOING TO APPLY FOR A WORKING HOLIDAY VISA TO AUS, TO LEAVE IN SEP/OCT THIS YEAR BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW,BEFORE WE APPLY, DO WE HAVE TO HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY AND DO WE HAVE TO HAVE A FLIGHT BOOKED FIRST BEFORE WE FILL FORM IN?
I'VE READ THAT HAVING £2000 IS NECESSARY BUT IVE ALSO HEARD OFF PPL WHO HAVE BEEN ON A WHV THAT YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE THAT EXACT AMOUNT, WE CURRENTLY HAVE £500 IN A SAVINGS ACCOUNT. SHOULD WE APPLY NOW OR WAIT TIL WE HAVE MORE FUNDS AND IS IT COMPULSARY TO HAVE A BOOKED FLIGHT TO GET A WHV.
ADVICE MUCH APPRECIATED, THANK YOU :-)
If my application is refused, how soon will i be informed?

Hi, i was just wondering what visa you could reccommend for us, i have a partner and a child,i have just finished being a chef, as we want to move to oz asap, my partners friend went over there with a working holiday visa within 2 weeks of appllying, and applied for skilled visa over there, is that possible for us? as we are thinking about up and leaving next mth, she said jobs are easy to find, and we can stay with her, while we look for a place, how much would you reccommend to take to Aussie?be great for advice.
My partner is an Administrator and is qualified in this, for 3 years
I am in the middle of a debt management programme, will this affect my working holiday visa application because i havn't had a reply for 8 days now and my friends who i'm planning to travel with got their visa granted in 1-3 days
I am 24 and my partner 31, i'm hoping to get a 12 month working holiday visa, what are the options for my partner?
hello i have been here in australia 6months and want to stay for another year how do i go about that
Hello, I had a one year working a few years ago, but for personal reasons at that time I didnt stay in Australia for the whole time. I did hear that you can now have a second one year working visa, provided that you do some manual work such as fruit picking. Did i hear correctly?
Hey,
In 2000 I had a one year WHV to Oz, during the period of the visa (and at that time) there was no option to extend to the now two year visa (This came in to affect 1st Nov 2005). Thus, I didn't complete the 3 month seasonal work that is now a requirement.
Can I now apply for the second year?
Many thanks.

Yes, you need a minimum amount of funds - this is listed on this site. Some people may get away with with not having the required amount of money but my advice is "dont gamble" with something that is important to you. You risk being turned around at an Australian airport. |

WHV are super quick - but you wont get one with a child. Safest route for you is skilled permanent residence. This is also probably the longest GRANT TIME. . Call Owen Small for other temporary visa options on 0131 625 6918. |

It could. It depends how you referred to it in the appliation and how serious the situation is in the eyes of the decision maker. |

That depends what type of visa you are currently on. Go and see the Department or see an Agent near you. www.themara.com.au |
