Questions:

Is it possible for my boyfriend who is in the royal navy to be able to emmigrate to Australia and join the Australian navy, also would I be able to go with him as well?

Hello A company in South Australia has offered me sponsorship on a 457 Visa as a HGV Driver. I hold a HGV Class 1 Licence (Australian equivalent HC I think.) Will I be able to use this licence in Australia or will I need to take a retest when I arrive there? Thankyou
I am currently a second year student studying Diagnostic Radiography (BSc Hons) and my partner is a research scientist (PhD). On completing my training which will finish in 2009 it is our desire to emmigrate to Canada. My partner has many contacts in his profession over there and should not struggle to find employment but i would like to know if my qualification (BSc Hons)in Diagnostic Radiography is recognised in Canada and whether i would be able to work over there using this qualification immediately after qualifying?
I am a 60 year old engineer I would like to live and work in the USA would I be considered?
Thanks for answering question on MODL for my husband but what does RWE stand for sorry to be thick. Presume its about work experience but not sure. Thanks again
my husband has two trades that are on the MODL list. Mechanical services and air conditioning plumber and welder {first class} my question is do we choose just one trade for the TRA assessment or write about both. He has worked in both extensively for the past 20 years and the two jobs go hand in hand with each other. Can you please advise us what is the best option. Thanks

Depending upon your Boyfirends skill set he may be of interest to the Navy in Oz. Artificers, Engineers, etc I have dealt with. If you meet De-Facto criteria then yes you can go too.

I dont really understand why you cant complete a spouse visa while preganant. Your work sponsored visa - (I am assuming a 457) requires you to work for the sponsoring employer.

Diving Instructor is not on The Skilled Occupation List (SOL) - therefore you cannot apply on this basis.

1/ something you enjoy doing. 2/ nursing, medicine, building trades, food, teaching, accountancy, etc etc

You will need to re-sit the license exam.

My understanding is that you will have to have 1 years post qualification work experience. This P/Q work experience has been up to 2 years recently for Austrlia.

You can have one trade for Nominated Occupation and one for RWE. Careful with getting the two crossed over.

Providing you meet health, CHaracther and age requirements you are good for Australia and also Canada.
