Questions:
we are thinking of emigrating to perth australia.my husband is a bank manager and is 42.He has an aunt living over there with permanent residency. We will have about 400,000 gbp to take with us. We have 3 dependent children. What are out chances
I hold a british passport (although i was born in NZ - my dad is british hence my passport) - i am in london at the moment and pregnant - if i go back to NZ to have the baby would it be able to get a British passport?
My boyfriend & I are hoping to move to Australia, however, I work in administration which isnt on the required skills list, and my boyfriend is a Tennis Coach which only appears on the Employer Sponsored Migration list. Does this mean that he has to find an employer first or does he add his details somewhere so that employers can find him? Also do you know the chances of British Tennis Coaches finding work in Australia?

I´m turning 35 years on March 13th and after that I´ll only have 115 points for the 136 visa, so I need to ask God to order ACS to send my results before March 13th (I have just received the Acknowledgment of Receipt, AOR, from ACS)
Does anybody know if I can use this ACS AOR to start the application at DIMIA? I wish I could do it...
Thanks
Hi,
I am keen to move to australia.I am 31,so not valid for whv,I have a degree in psychology and my brother is a permanent resident in australia.I was wondering if I might qualify for a visa,or would I be best re-training on a skill on the MODL.
thanks for your help.
I have already delayed my application for immigration to New Zealand by a month due to a hold up in my passport being renewed. Now , due to my misreading of the documents required I find that I will need at least a month and a half more to complete my qualification assesments.IS this going to cause a problem? or is there any way I can submit all the other documents and forward the qualification documents when they arrive?
I was hoping to immigrate on a skilled visa 136 but i only have 115 points. How can i find the extra 5 points?
How many points do you need to emigrate to australia on a skilled visa?

Not good under the skilled visa catergory I am afraid. Please send Owen Small a copy of his CV for a more in depth opinion. owen@my-oe.com |

Yes. My kids have 2 passports for this reason. Good luck with it all. |

He would need to be a tennis coach of "exceptional talent" to be able to make this work. You may want to look at some of the Working Holiday visa options. |

The question is whether or not you work in an occupation on the list. If you dont you need to, to be able to emigrate via the skilled route. |

An application without a relevant skills assesment (where one is required) is NOT valid and will be returned to you. |

bonus points. 5 can be gained from community language, $100K investment, or Australian work experience. You should also consider going on a sponsored (State or relative) visa for extra points or lower passmark. Seriously - read the basics of immigration before posting a question here. This is elementary stuff and you should not even begin to consider a DIY application if you havent grasped these sort of facts yet. |

This is not really a FAQQ. There are many different pass marks for various classes and sub classes of visas. 136 is 120 points. Check www.immi.gov.au to do some basic research. This part of the site is for people who are more advanced in their migration knowledge and are contemplating a DIY on their own application. |

Depends on visa type, fast or slow track, and many other variables. Not a FAQ I can answer I am afraid. |
