Questions:
My brother is a US citizen and he is going to put my file for PR for USA. But he is
saying that it takes almost 12-13 years before i can come to USA on this visa as it
takes that much time for processing. Is this true?

Me and my partner are hoping to move to Australia, we are hoping to save up some money to buy a house when we get there. His parents have recently move with his brother, is there any way they can help us get there cheaper. Also what if he found a job can the employers sponser us to go??
what is naturalisation? what does the process of obtaining citizenship entail?
My wife and I have british citizenship through naturalisation. If we have children back in NZ will they have any special rights - like right of abode - in england (if they are born in NZ)?

once you have begun an application for permanent residence can you do the process at your own pace? in case you encounter unforseen problems or you dont have enough cash available at any particular time? or do you have a strict time period it has to be processede and completed in?

1/ Qualify for a visa. 2/ You must first research whether or not you are eligible for one of the visas on offer. If you are going for one of the business catergory visas then a bankruptcy will have an effect on the application whereas it would have little effect on a spouse visa for example. |

Family can sponsor you. An employer can also sponsor you. Both are subject to conditions. |

It is basically a legal term for obtaining the rights and obligations of a citizen of that country. A passport is the main tangible benefit. Many countries allow "dual citizenship" - e.g UK?Australia or Ireland/Canada etc. |

They will have dual citizenship - including the UK as you are Nationals. |

There are deadlines set by DIMA. ususally 49 days per request letter sent out. You could draw it out for a long time - if you knew the system. Not indefinetlely though. |

No. You would need to be able to lawfully enter the country prior to enlisting in the Police. |

You dont have to have any money re getting a visa approval but you will need some money to arrive, settle in etc. How much is up to you. Depending where you choose to live there would be lots of employment oppurtunities. |
