Questions:

Hi I want to frontload my PCC. I live in Scotland. What PCC do I need? Does it only need to cover Scotland or rest of UK too? What should it look like? Thanks
I am an australia citizen, and had a charge for stealing as a servant more than 8 years ago now. I would like to travel to canada for a 3 weeks holiday. Do I need to declare this? Will I get approved?
I asked a while ago about the possibility of immigration. I am married with 3 children my eldest son has Downs Syndrome and also has a pacemaker fitted. It was suggested that we contacted an Australian doctor. Would this be the same for New Zealand? Would this be a doctor based in the UK or New Zealand? Would we have to prove that we could support him for rest of his life eg cost of living and medically or just for so many years? He is a very healthy boy and the pacemaker has had very little use over the last 5 years only activated possibility when he has been exercising or running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am a UK citizen with no criminal convictions or criminal record. However, in the last 12 months I received a Fixed Penalty Notice for Disorder (£80): Public Order Act Section 5 - this does not result in a criminal conviction nor criminal record. I was intoxicated at the time and deeply regret what happened. I have never had any problems with alcohol previously and I now abstain from drinking. Will this affect my visa appication to Canada?
my girlfriend of 22 and I are thinking of applying for a years working visa in Austraila whith a prospect of gaining residency after this time. however,in my early teen`s i hung about in the wrong crowds and gained myself a criminal record for a few things ie; burglary, assault, theft of motor vehicles and possesition of a small amount of canabis, however i have never spent time in prison. now at 24 i have myself a roofing and lead work company and employ a hand full of people. My girlfriend is a qualified care assistant. so we feel that we both have skills that would benefit the country.do you think my criminal record will affect our chances? thank you.
i would love to move to australia and think i have enough points. i am nearly 31 but when i was 22 i got a caution for shoplifting. i have never done any-thig like this before or after, will this ruin my chances?
I am in remission from bile duct cancer for 2 years. My son is a BZ citizen and wants me to go and live with him in NZ. What are my chances of beinf allowed to live in NZ

Hi, my names debbie and myself and my family would like to immigrate to any one of the countries listed but are worried due to my husband having a couple of convictions. The first was in July 1994 for using threatening, abusive insulting words or behaviour w/i to cause fear or provocation of violence on public order act 1986 for which he recieved £50 fine and £25 costs, The second was for assault occasioning actual body harm for this he had a £100 fine £25 costs and £50 compensation. He also had a wounding offence against him in 1997 for which he had community service order of 180 hours, £600 compensation and £400 costs. He has regretted his actions for years and now has a respected job as a retained firefighter and a security officer working in a job centre. What are our chances of immigrating to another country as we are desperate?
I was given a police caution at the age of 15 for a shoplifting offence (I am now 32). How does this impact any plans I have to travel to the USA. Do I need to apply for a visa as a result of this caution? Thanks

It gets tricky here. If you have lived in Scotland only for the past 10 years - you apply for the Scottish one. If not you need a British PNC.

You should declare it and you almost certainly will be apporoved for the visa.

HEllo, I am sorry to say that yours is a case that would almost cetainly fail on medical grounds in either Australia or New Zealand. A medical opinion could be obtained from Sydney for both countries.

No - this will not cause you a problem.

I think the convictions could cause you a problem - however properly handled and presented I would expect a visa to be granted. Call o845 601 7810 for assistance.

i would be unlikely to "ruin" your chances. Fill in our online assessment and one of the OE team will contact you with advice on how to get aroud this "hurdle".

I have no experience of this condition. I would recomend you go for a "pre MOT" health check and get a sound medical opinion from a Dr. who undrstands migration requirements. Call me on 0131 625 6906 for guidance. (Richard Gregan)

3 x offences over a period does show a pattern of re-offending which is problematic. I would think you have a reasonable chance of success if you can convince a Government decision maker your husband is unlikely to cause any furhter problem. Best way forward would be to contact an Agent who has experience in dealing with these cases. Richard Gregan 0131 625 6906 - I do 20 of these per year.

No - it wont. The only problem you would have is if you tried to hide it and it later came out. Be honest with them from the start.
