Questions:

hi! we are in the philippines and my husband worked for six years in his uncle's physical therapy clinic. though he has no physio therapy formal schooling, will his experience be considered for employment in australia? regards
Hi, I'm 19 yrs old male and live in the UK. I have just become a level 3 qualified Personal Trainer. I am currently working as a PT at Fitness First for approx 2 months and wanted to find out any info I could about emigration to Australia. I do know that there are Fitness Firsts clubs in Australia as well. Lots of people say that Personal Trainers dont get any points, wheras some other people I have spoken to (who come from Australia) seem to think I will have no problem finding work or moving out there. Any feedback would be much appreciated!!!!
HIYA.BRILL SITE. MY FIANCE IS A SCAFFOLDER, IS THIS A GOOD TRADE TO EMIGRATE TO AUSTRALIA WITH? MY FRIENDS THAT LIVE OVER THERE SAY YES, HOWEVER, I HAVE LOOKED ON THE MODL LIST AND CANNOT ACTUALLY SEE THE WORD 'SCAFFOLDERS' ON THERE, JUST A LOT OF SIMILAR TRADES.DO THEY CALL THIS SOMETHING ELSE IN AUSTRALIA OR ARE MY MATES TELLING ME PORKIES? THANKS :-)
My husband is under 45 and has the skills to reach the 120 point target. I am 45 and have no specific skills so if we were to emigrate to Australia as a couple would I be allowed to work
IT professional 20 years, qualified secondary teacher, degree and post grad. Love to live in Aus - daughter has type 1 diabetes (controlled) - would I be consider?
Please could you let me know what states in Australia are in demand for physiotherapists and what the annual salary would be compared to England.
Hi have worked in the pvcU double glazing industry for 25 years and currently working in Technical Sales. I don't have any further education qualificiations. Would I still be eligible for a visa?
With regard to qualifications if you have only completed part 1 of your city and guilds course and failed the 2nd part but have worked in your given trade for 20 years and can prove this through references is this acceptable when applying for an australian skilled visa or must you have complete qualifications, my partner is a chef. Many thanks
I am a newly qualified physiotherapist. Do I need experience before I can apply to migrate to Australia. I have 3 years St Johns Ambulance experience and voluntary experience within sports and hospital clinics.
I have done an apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical engineering then an ONC in Electrical/Electronics & HNC in Computers but have been off the tools for 5 years due to being promoted into a supervisory role, would I need to go back to college and get some general Electric skills i.e. 16th edition/PAT Testing/Installations courses ect to be able to pass the TRA or would I still fail it through lack of work experience?

You do not qualify for permanent skilled migration.

scoffolder is a recognised trade in Australia - ASCO 7913-11, But it IS NOT on SOL and therefore you cant migrate with this as your nominated occupation.

Yes you can. Even if you were 90 years old you could still work.

If under 45 years itis worth a closer look. send a cv to the free assesment portion of this site for an informed opinion regarding your skills. Well controlled diabetes is generally OK in my experience.

As it is on MODL (occupation in demand list) it is highly employable in all States. Salaries within Australia are variable and comparisons with UK with cost of living factored in usually favours an Australian lifestyle in my experience. You need to do your own sums though!

No. Double glazing sales is not on the list.

You do need P/Q work exp. Send in a CV via our free assesment service on this site and we can let you know if what you have done would constitute relevant work experience.

If we could get a look at your full CV a decision could be made whether or not you meet the requirements for one of the ASCO - 01 suffix supervisor roles. fill in the enquiry form on this site and attach the CV - we will get back to you. This is a free service. (Obviously we would look to represent you at a fixed fee IF you qualified!)
