Hi. Im 20yrs old and in my final year of university. I have however become disillusioned with UK life and would like to immigrate to the USA. My question is this - without a job offer from a US company, is there any chance I will be able to obtain a VISA?

wanting to move to australia have two children age 8 and 6 at what stage do i apply for schools before we are accepted after we get the visas through or once you are over there and do children have to go through some sort of medicel
HELLO THIS IS A SILLY QUESTION SO I WOULD NOT BLAME YOU IF YOU DID NOT ANSWER IT MY HUSBAND HAS FOR YEARS GONE ON ABOUT MIGRATING TO THE GREAT LAND OF OZ I HAVE BEEN DOING MY OWN RESEARCH ON AUSTRALIA AND WOULD MYSELF LOVE TO LIVE THERE ONLY WE HAVE NEVER VISITED THE PLACE AND NOT A SOUL DO WE KNOW HAVE YOU KNOWN OF PEOPLE WHO WERE IN THE SAME BOAT AS US AND ARE HAPPY EACH REVEIW IVE READ ON THIS THEY ALL SEEM TO HAVE FAMILY FRIENDS OR BEEN OVER FOR HOLIDAYS AS WE ARE APPLIYNG WE CANT AFFORD TO GO FOR A HOLIDAY THERE YET IM EXCITED AND SCARED JUST MAYBE HOPING YOU CAN GIVE A LITTLE REASURANCE SORRY IF IVE WASTED YOUR TIME
we are wanting to emmigrate to australia when the forms start coming in and ask no doubt about family health history my mother and her 5 sisters and three brothers all died young with different cancers will this infomation would it lessen my chances
hi i asked a question about child benifit i meant to say child allowance will i have to tell them or do we still automaticly carry on getting it untill the kids turn 16

	If you can afford a "look see" tour - great. If you cant then you will have to make up your mind -yes or no to the migration question without the trip. Some 60% of my clients over the years have NOT been to Australia prior to migrating. THe vast majority are pleased they decided to go!

	My personal favourites Perth WA - or some of the outlying areas. Adelaide Queensland Non Metro Victoria All of these have great "cost of living" reasonably priced housing, plenty of work and friendly Ozzies.

	The entire migrating family unit must enter Australia within 12 months of the earlier of Police check or medical. You can make that first entry a two week (or 1 day or whatever) holiday and return to the UK - as you have 5 years Returning REsidence Visas on your skills visa - generally. Call for help if you need it.

	kids do need medicals. Best to choose school when you know where you will live and work.

	I can think of 30 people of the top of my head who were in exactly your situation 5-10 years ago. They are now happily settled in Australia. Those who have had a visist and liked what they saw are often hampered by a "rose tinted spectacles" view of the place. i.e seeing it while on "holiday mode" rather than as a home and place to earn a living and bring up kids. The important thing is to communicate as a family and then either go for it - or stay in the UK!

	no - as long as you pass the medical you will be fine.

	No - as non UK tax payers you are not eleigble for UK child benefit.
