Questions:
With regard to emigrating to Oz and the references you have to provide to prove you have worked for the last 3 years, what else do you have to provide. Do you need to show wage slips/tax returns or are references enough. What else is needed
what social services or community/social related jobs are on the sol lists for canada or australia or new zealand? how much pq work exp would i need to complete before applying? how do i find the sols for each country?
in response to your reply to my question about pq work experience for canada. my social work qual would be extra but the work exp i would be doing would be the result of an already obtained degree in community work so would that not count as pq work exp or would i need to get pq social work exp also? hope i made sense,.
Hi, Im a uk qualified electrician (c&g Part 1&2), i am emigrating to the us. How do my qualifications stand up over there? Will I be able to work as an electrician or will I have to sit there exams? Is there things I can get over here to help before I leave? Thanks
i work with vulnerable young adults and have seven years experience. I am not a qualified social worker is there a call for relevant jobs in aus or new zealand, my husband is a newly qualified electrician come overhead linesman (electrical) and an hgv driver would we get a visa. Also we are both recently 40 and have two children one of which is an insulin dependent diabetic what would our chances be?
I did community service about 15 years ago for a non serious crime, would this stop me from qualifing to Perth Australia.
I am a 41 year old married mother of two teenagers, who is currently traing to be a registered nurse. I have a further year and a half to do before i qualify but would like to know if we would be eligible to qualify to emigrate to Perth Australia whem my training is comleted.

SOL just refers to Australia. look at www.immi.gov.au This is an FAQ not a DIY assistance service. Please ask specific questions. |

You need P/Q work exp in the discipline you are applying for. |

Different States have different rules. Your qualifications are recognised - but do not immediately make you migrateable. |

I can see a route via the Electrical work. Ring Owen Small on 0131 625 6918 for an assesment and further options at no cost to you. Diabetes that is well controlled is usually OK for a a visa grant. |

porbably not. It would depend upon the nature of the crime, the severity of the sentence and many other factors. |

YEs. You will need either 12 or 6 months post qulaification work experience (depending upon where you want to live). This is under current law. It may change in the mean time. Keep an eye on this site for news of any changes. |
