Let me reframe my question regarding Work to residence visa of NZ As you must be aware that in skilled migrant category the final result after visa interview could be: 1. Permanent residence 2. Work to residence(you have 6 months to get skilled job in your occupation then only you get PR) 3.Decline of visa I just want to know whether in this category visa does somebody really get 1.Residence visa or it is always 2.Work to residence visa given to applicants after the visa interview?

Yes - a case office is the Minister's "delegate" and makes the decision whwhter to grant or refuse the visa on her behalf.

If there is a problem with either one -= then yes. If these are fine you are 99% sure of getting the visa, as this is the last "hurdle " you have to jump to get the visa.

It would almost certainly affect your credit rating (i.e. the ability to get a mortgage, credit cards etc) and COULD be considered an issue of "character".
