I'm a british citizen and have recently married and Australian who is in the UK on a 5 year work visa (ends 2010) with his employer. If he wanted to change his job I understand that he can submit a Change of Employment application if he wants to do a similar role to his current job. What happens if he wants do an entirely different job? Will a Spousal Visa ensure that he can stay here and change jobs? Also, can he apply for a Spousal Visa from within the UK or will he have to return to Australia to apply?

I have been in the USA for one year as an exchange student on an F-1 visa, and it is now time for me to return home. I would like to find out about returning to the U.S. in one year after I graduate in order to spend some extended time with my partner in America. Is there a simple, temporary visa i can get which will allow me to live (and possibly work) in the US for perhaps a matter of 3 - 6 months?
Hi. My wife and I are seriously considering applying to emmigrate to New Zealand from the UK. On retirement, would we still be eligible to receive our UK state pension which we have paid towards for many years. Many thanks.

Under most skilled sub classes you will need 12 out of the last 18 months as a qualified nurse. There may well be some way around this using a sponsored visa in the first instance and then applying for skilled later on. Same sex couples are generally no more difficult than a de-facto heterosexual couple. Child custody and Hague convention requirements can cause problems if the children's Dad's object? Hi there. I will be 30 in Nov and will be travelling to Australia in Aug on a working hol. visa. I am qualified as a Civil Engineer but want to know what is the best route to apply for a permanent visa? I am a British citizen and have heard that my application for permanent visa may be a faster process if i route it through a migration consulant in Ireland. Your earliest advice would be most welcome. Regards, Rob Bob - Your case will be judged in Adelaide regardless of whether or not you use an agent. your best route will be via a skilled independent 136 visa assuming you meet all of the base criteria.

The USA is not migrant friendly as say the Australians, Canadians or New Zealanders. You quite probably can get sponsored as an H1B O.T. but this is a TEMPORARY visa only. Not a good bet in my book.

Retail work is not on the SOL (Skilled occupation list) Electrician is. You would need at least 12 months post qualification work experience to be able to apply.
