If you successfully migrate to Australia on a SIR visa can you purchase a house during your temporary visa period?
I am a 39 year ols Occupational Therapist having practised for 17 years and currently manage a team of other Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Officers. My husband is 53 and a Manager within Local Government. We also have two children aged 4 and 5. The question is would we as a family be eligible for Aentry???
entire process time for SIR VISA, when all the documents are submitted?
I am a canadian permanent resident. I presently live in the usa and have been married for 1 and a half years. What do I need to do to keep my permanent residence in canada as well as keep my residence in the usa?also if i choose to travel to canada and travel back to be with my husband, will the immigration officials at the border stop my entry into the usa- if so, what documentation should i carry with me/ I have not filed for my papers in the usa- I am a little scared to do so- as I want to do the right thing.
we have lodged our visa with dmri on one of the forms we had to put where we wanted to go we put nt darwin but after a few job enquires we have found my husband stands a better chance of a job in the brisbane area. but because of the form does that mean we have to go to darwin
I graduated a year ago with a degree in Pharmaceutical science. I would like to move to USA and start a career out there within my degree field and start a life with my boyfriend who is an american citizen. i find it hard to get employment put there due to the fact that i dont have permanent residency. I would to gain temporary residency and work permit in order to look for work. what should i do?
My family and I are keen to begin the application process to emigrate to Australia. We want to have another baby. If I become pregnant during the application process, does this mean that we will have to start again? and what happens with the medicals?
I am in Aus with a 457, and keen to apply for PR. However, my major is not in the immigration list and my age is a little too old (almost 40). Is there any suggestion what I should do? Thank you!

NO this question is for statistical purposes so DIMIA know where new migrants are going to in Australia. Unless you have been sponsored by a state government and you are on an independant visa you go go wherever you like. |

If you get pregnant during the migration process you do not have to start all over again. Your application can be put on hold until you have the baby and is added to the application. At this time medicals would be completed. |

I would speak to your employer in regards to the Employer Nomination Scheme ENS. However regardless of what you majored in with your degree you still she be able to get a positive skillsassessment thru Vetassess. |
