My boyfriend and I are in the UK and are going back to South Africa in February to get married. I am a british citizen. My partner has been living in the UK for the past 5 years without a valid visa. We want to get married and plan to go on a 6 month honeymoon around the world and then back to settle in London. What steps do you suggest we take to ensure we are both able to return to the UK to settle.
I'm Australian and I have just used my 2 year working holiday visa in the Uk as of november.I have been with my girlfriend for 2 years now. she is coming out to australia in feb for a month and i want to go back to the uk in may to be with her we have only 3 months of living together on paper and a bank acount. I can get written evidence from the company we both worked for that we have been together and are very serious, as well as alot of photo's. She still works for the same company and they have already said they would hire me back in a second but cant sponsor me. Is there any way for me to get a defacto visa to get to be with my girlfriend
I have been granted the UK HSMP visa and have been living in the UK since May 2005 with my Australian partner. Can we apply for the unmarried partner visa for my partner taking into consideration my visa status.
My partner is currently here on a visit visa which expires in May 07. I am pregnant and due in March and we would like to get married. I was given the advice that for him to apply for a COA he should return to his country of residence, is this correct or can we apply now and get married without him having to return home?? We were going to try to get a de facto spouse visa however have only lived together for 16 months and were told this is insufficient.
I have two children from a previous marriage, and one with my new husband. We want to live in australia but do not have any contact with my previous husband for three years to get his permission. Will the lack of the permission under the circumstances stop our application or is there anything else We can do to support our case.
