Hello Me and my wife are contenplating emigrating to OZ My profession is print and graphics and my wife is Sage trained would this class as skilled migratrion visa.

please let me know if my wife is the primary applicant in skilled migration to OZ& we jointly make the first entry, but she then return to india to complete her studies while i stay in OZ for 1 1/2 yrs till she returns?
please let me know after howmany year i can sponser a family member after migrating to Australia...? 2 years after getting the PR or after 2 years stay in australia

"settled" is generally taken to be 2 years permanent residence. |

You must first pas "balance of family" test to either go as a "contributory" or an "aged" parent. Essentially you need a greater or equal number of children settled in Australia to qualify. |

If one of your sisters is permanently "settled" in Australia, as well as you, then your parents can go as they will meet the "balance of family test". |

You can fill in the skills matching portion of the form 47 when you make the application. You couyld also fly out there to be interviewed or you appoint a job finding agency. Some IT jobs are in hot demad and you would stand a chance of getting a psotion before you leave - other jobs will require you telling your employer "I can start on Monday" as you sit in his office with a valid visa in your passport. i.e. visa first - job second, is the way most people have to go. |
