A survey conducted by the World Bank has measured the amount of time required to start a business in 170 countries worldwide, and revealed that setting up a business in Australia can take as little as 2 days, the quickest of all the countries surveyed.
The average amount of time required establish a business in an Economically Developed Country is 17 days, but due to the comparatively low costs of registering a new firm and the low levels of legal and bureaucratic hurdles that must be overcome by entrepreneurs, setting up a business in Australia can be done in no time at all.
