John Key wins third successive election victory

John Key led his National Party to a 3rd successive victory on 20th September. He currently has a 70% approval rating and has been credited with leading New Zealand successfully through the global recession. Unemployment rate has fallen to 5.6% and overall economic growth is higher than the UK and Australia. Much of the economic success has been in part due to surging dairy exports to China and the $40 billion NZD rebuild of Christchurch following the 2011 earthquake.
