Silver Fern Job Search Quota is open for 2011

by | May 5, 2011

The annual Silver Fern Job Search Quota opened on Wednesday 27th April at 10.00am, and demand for places is likely to be high. The Silver Fern Job Search Visa is designed to give highly qualified young people the chance to come to New Zealand to look for a skilled job. There is a quota of 300 places annually available to people of all nationalities aged 20 to 35. Applications must be made using an online application system. Last year, such was demand that the quota filled within half an hour. Successful Silver Fern Job Search applicants will be granted a nine-month work visa allowing them to work for any employer in New Zealand. If they obtain skilled work, they can progress to the two-year Silver Fern Practical Experience work visa. For more information on New Zealand skilled visas, please visit our website.
