New Zealand sees rise in Working Holiday Visas

The New Zealand immigration department has reported a rise in the number of young people from the UK who have successfully applied for a working holiday visa, allowing them to live, work and travel in the country for up to 23 months. Figures from January to May 2013 show a 12.8% rise in applications from the UK, compared to last year, with over 4,400 people from the UK granted a working holiday visa. Many more are expected to apply during the busy summer months.
